Partnerships

Local News Analysis considers collaborations that fit its subject and give readers a clear understanding of who is involved. A partnership never guarantees favourable editorial coverage.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined projects such as reader education, commissioned explainers, event or resource listings, and contributions that help readers navigate local information. Proposals should explain the intended audience, material offered, partner role and any conditions attached.

Partner placements

We accept relevant partner placements across the site when their purpose and sponsor are clear. Placements may appear alongside articles or in other shared site areas, but they are labelled so readers can tell that they are partner material rather than independent reporting.

Editorial boundaries

Partners may check factual details about their own supplied material, but they do not approve independent editorial work or dictate its conclusions. We do not imply endorsement through a placement. We may decline proposals that are unclear, unsuitable for the publication or inconsistent with reader trust.

Making an enquiry

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the proposed collaboration, who it is for, what would be supplied or funded and how you expect it to be labelled. We will consider the fit and the clarity of the proposed arrangement.
